Cairn Lodge Amateur Boxing Club has produced some the most oustanding amateur boxers in N.Ireland. Many success stories such as Marc McCullough, Derek Potter and Katie McCullough (current all Ireland Champion) have brought many trophies, medals and Titles to the Shankill Road based club. Club instructors include Tommy Waite, Tommy Waite Junior, Tom Dunn and Paul Smyth, who have formed an elite squad of amateur boxers within the Hammer Community Centre in Agnes Street and the boxing club continues to grow from strength to strength and is now one of the fastest growing boxing clubs in Belfast.
